I’m incredibly honored to share that the Lisa Bigness VoyageTampa Feature is now live as part of the magazine’s Inspiring Stories series—an interview project highlighting local creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals who are building meaningful businesses across the Tampa Bay area.

As a luxury newborn and family photographer serving Sarasota, Tampa, and beyond, this was such a special opportunity to reflect on my journey—how it started, how it’s grown, and what continues to inspire me.

In the interview, I share how motherhood sparked my passion for photography, the ups and downs of building a business through multiple moves (from Rhode Island to Clearwater to Sarasota), and why I’ve committed to a truly full-service, guided portrait experience for my clients.

From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to offer more than just digital files—I wanted to create something timeless, tangible, and truly personal. Today, my sessions include everything from styling and hair and makeup to custom wall galleries and heirloom albums.

I also spoke candidly about the challenges along the way—navigating the pandemic, rebuilding after a move, and finding work-life balance while traveling to client homes with a full studio setup.

What Matters Most

What I’m most passionate about—what truly matters most to me—is helping families see the art in their own story. We live in a fast-paced, digital world, but I believe there’s so much value in slowing down, being intentional, and preserving life’s most beautiful moments with care.
