An In-Home Sarasota Newborn Photographer


Each session begins with a personalized style and design consultation, where we plan the details of your session and how your portraits will be displayed in your home. I also provide styling guidance for everyone being photographed, with optional professional hair and makeup services available for moms who would like a little extra pampering before their session.

After your session, you’ll view and select your photos right away with album mock-ups, and previews of how your photos will look on your walls.

These early days pass quickly. Let’s preserve them beautifully.

The Newborn Photography Process

From your first inquiry to the delivery of your finished artwork, every step of my newborn photography experience is thoughtfully designed to make things easy for you.

We’ll discuss your due date, preferred session style, and how you envision displaying your portraits in your home.

Most families reserve their newborn photography session during the second trimester to ensure availability. However, if your baby has already arrived, you’re always welcome to inquire about open dates.

Once your session is confirmed, I reserve a two-week window surrounding your due date, allowing flexibility while keeping your calendar space protected.

After your booking is confirmed, we’ll schedule a design consultation to plan your session and discuss how you’d love to display your portraits.

We’ll review styling, colors, and artwork options so everything feels prepared before session day. For families outside the Sarasota area, consultations may be held virtually when needed.

I arrive with everything needed for your session, including lighting, wraps, props, and styling pieces for your portraits.

If professional hair and makeup is included with your session, that takes place while I begin setting up.

Newborn sessions move at your baby’s pace, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. To give each family my full attention, I photograph only one newborn session per day.

After your session, we’ll review your images together while everything is still fresh. I’ll bring my laptop so you can view your portraits, see artwork to scale on your walls, and begin planning albums or wall art if desired.

You’ll choose your favorite images from unedited files so you can focus on connection and emotion before retouching is completed. I’ll guide you through the process and help narrow down your favorites if needed.

Once your selections are finalized, each chosen portrait is professionally retouched and prepared for print and delivery.

Your finished portraits are transformed into albums, wall art, and printed pieces designed to be enjoyed in your home for years to come. I’ll guide the final details to ensure everything fits your space and style naturally.

Because each piece is professionally crafted and produced, completion typically takes up to six weeks. Local families may choose personal delivery, while out-of-town clients receive their artwork securely packaged and shipped.

Digital files included with your selected portraits are delivered through a private online gallery once retouching is complete.
