I’m Lisa Bigness. I create custom portraiture and wall art for families across Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, and Florida’s Gulf Coast. The kind of work that becomes part of a home, not a folder on a hard drive.

My clients are busy. Running companies, practices, households, boards. What they want isn’t another item on the to-do list. They want a finished piece, done for them, from first consultation to the moment it’s hung on the wall. That’s the work I do: art direction, styling, design, framing, and installation, handled entirely so you don’t have to think about it.

Get to Know Me

My own path into this work started in a darkroom in high school, long before I understood what it would become. It deepened the moment I had my daughter – watching how fast a season of life moves, and how little of it we actually keep. That urgency is what I bring to every family I photograph: this stage doesn’t last, and it deserves more than a gallery link.

Today, I take on a limited number of commissions each month. Full-service, from concept to final installation, for families who want their home to hold what matters most.

Photographing my own daughter taught me how quickly a season passes, and how much I wanted to hold onto it. It’s the same instinct I bring to every family I work with: this stage won’t last, so the way we preserve it should be worthy of it.
